As Head of the Research and Preclinical Development Department, Wendy is leading the effort to fuel Stiefel’s pipeline with innovative new products. Her responsibilities cover the Center for Skin Biology, non-clinical safety assessment, clinical pharmacology, drug metabolism & pharmacokinetics, and early development of novel ingredients.

Wendy has developed a deep passion and experience in dermatology research and development, and is very excited about the unique opportunity in Stiefel to develop new, transformational treatments for unmet medical needs in dermatology.

Scientists in her group are accountable for identifying “druggable” targets, carrying out translational research, and executing Proof of concept studies. They conduct research in keratinocyte biology, and generate scientific evidence, safety and efficacy information to support Stiefel Rx, OTC and cosmetic products through launch.
