Graham Johnson
Vice President, Dermatology Supply Chain
Graham joined a legacy company of GSK in 1985, working on process development and industrialisation of API’s (Active pharmaceutical ingredients). He then spent time in Network Strategy and Network design before heading up the Topicals Manufacturing Operation at the GSK Crawley facility located in the United Kingdom. He then led the external supply network operation for European CMO’s (Contract Manufacturing Organization), supplying both prescription & non-prescription products to GSK before taking up senior roles within the Global Manufacturing Supply (GMS) Operational Excellence organisation.
In 2002 Graham became the site director of the Bristol, Tennessee facility before moving to Puerto Rico at the end of 2004 to head up the Cidra facility as it entered a consent decree with the FDA.
After the successful remediation of Cidra he became vice president & site director of GMS Ware in the United Kingdom, leading the site through a significant transformation process that has positioned the site well for the future as the principle New Product Introduction (NPI) facility for solid dose and inhaled medicines.
Graham is married to Anne-Marie and they have four children aged between 22 and 13. Graham has a Ph.D in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of Loughborough in the United Kingdom.
