Francis Del Val
Vice President Stiefel, EMAP

Francis started his career with GSK as Marketing and Sales Director for SmithKline Beecham, Philippines in 1999. Subsequently, Francis was appointed General Manager, Consumer Healthcare (Cx) Philippines. Since then, he has held a variety of jobs in GSK Cx – including Marketing and Business Development Director, Asia Cx and General Manager, Thailand, Philippines & Vietnam. Francis moved to GSK Pharmaceuticals in 2007 as Managing Director for Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei. In September 2010, he was assigned to the GSK CEO Future Strategy Group on “Increasing Access to Medicines for Emerging Markets,” and in March 2011, he joined Stiefel as vice president, EMAP.

Before joining GSK, Francis worked in several senior level roles in Unilever , Warner Lambert and Citibank. He was also an entrepreneur , launching the first Integrated Marketing Services Company in the Philippines.

From 2009-2010, Francis was President of the Singapore Pharmaceutical Association (SAPI) and Board Director of the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Association (PHAMA). He is married to Marisa, with whom he has three children.
